about

Poet Zoë Skoulding follows the mysterious path of the culverted Afon Adda in Bangor as it draws her into conversations with the city and its past, as well as with the sound of the river itself under the metal plates of the observation chambers along its route. Poems from her collection Footnotes to Water www.serenbooks.com/productdisplay/footnotes-water are set to field recordings by Alan Holmes, along with a guest poem in Welsh from Siân Melangell Dafydd and voices of citizens of Bangor (Eric Jones, Meryl Barton and Maeyc Hewitt).
